Music video script
EXT. DAY. PARK.
Camera looking down
an empty path and john comes around the corner and the camera. follows him
walking.
John is walking down
a path way in the middle of a park, it’s While he is walking he sways and is
heavy on his feet.
John looks into one
of the stores. His eyebrows raise and he freezes on the spot. He stumbles into
the light.
EXT. DAY. BENCH
He walks in to and
stops he staring over the bench. The camera starts to fade out.
Music starts playing
after he walks off shot and is near the bench
John slowly walks up
and down near the park bench, increasing with pace with each time he does is.
Still not breaking
eye contact the camera zooms out to reveal a girl is casual clothes and a demon
jacket. The girl is staring at her phone.
John then gets up and
walks uncontrollably toward the girl and sits down slowly next to her. The girl
looks up from her phone and towards him. She lets of a sigh then moves to
another bench.
john then gets up
straight away and follows her to the next bench.
JOHN
Girl, what's your
problem
'Cause I know it's hard sometimes,
'Cause I know it's hard sometimes,
baby
just give it some time
Oh honey
now
girl, we can solve them
If you just
give
me some time I can open up your
mind If
you le-le-let it shine, you can
free-ee-ee
your mind 'Cause I know
john springs up and
starts dancing in a random and spontaneous way with exaggerated movements. The
girl is watching john dance.
He slides into the
seat next to her and she smiles.
JOHN
Girl, if it's done
right
Well you know it's got to be,
Well you know it's got to be,
something wonderful
to me
Oh honey now girl, give it
Oh honey now girl, give it
one night If
you just give it
a chance, loving you
is not my
plan 'Cause
I know one day you'll
see All
the things that we can be
When
the lyric “And now that's it's over I'll never be sober (I want to be the only
one)” is said johns snaps his head forward and when the chorus begins john
jumps up and starts to dance intensely as the music adds more bass to the
music.
Camera
cuts to the girl with a smile on her face while watching john while he’s
dancing. John continues to dance but jumping from table to table all around. He
gets to the table before the one the girl is sitting on and jumps off in front
of her.
She
jumps as he appears in front of her, but then continues to smile.
When
the piano part starts playing john pretends to play the piano in the air in the
same tune as if he can hear the song being played.
He
makes the girl laugh and she starts to nod her head in time to his dancing
Towards
the end of the song you have it fading out
AGE
RATING
I
believe that the age rating for the music video should be a 12. This is because
of the misuse of alcohol in the video. This is something that can’t be seen in
PG videos due to the bad nature of this. According to the BBFC board the rating
of the video should be a 12. It is not extreme enough to be a 15 as the topics
are quite light and not frequent in the video. Topics include drug misuse which
we do not use in the video, the character is seen slightly drunk and with a
bottle of alcohol in his hands however he is not abusively drinking and does
not condone drinking.

angles, lighting, music, and/or editing contribute to creating a specific image
for the Band/Artist.
The lighting in my
video will all be natural lighting as I want it to look natural as it going to
be as close to a real-life situation as possible. The camera angles are going
to be simple with shots like: long shots, mid shots and establishing shots.
Those examples are mainly going to be used as it's going to focus more on the
