List three concepts or ideas in the music video that have inspired you in an artistic fashion and through the images presented
1. Having the band perform in multiple locations. These locations will include open spaces such as fields and closed up spaces such as industrial areas. The diverse locations will link to the theme of the song which focuses on fear and anger bringing people down, and keeping them trapped in fear.
2. Telling multiple stories in one song. This will be incorporated into my music video by showing the a story going on and the band. The story will follow someone getting chased. The band or members from the band will be playing their instruments.
3. Big changes in lighting featuring colour correction to alter the sky and environment. The changes will suggest how keeping the anger and fear alters how you view the world.

The social concerns and the culture are all shown in the video. This social concerns are shown by having lyrics that cover the topic of anger and fear and how it affects people however there aren't any shots of people showing this suggesting in a prison environment there is a stereotype where the inmates have to be tough. The cultural aspect is shown by having a diverse mix of people in the prison however no one in the video has clear superiority showing they are equal.

The whole video is live action. It features scenes of the band playing inside a prison corridor, outside the prison, and in a studio which has lots of prison imagery in it. The video cuts between colour and black and white for some of the flashback sequences, however the majority of the music video is in colour. Other
Note how camera angles, lighting, music, and/or editing contribute to creating a specific image for the Band/Artist.
The music video being located in a San Quentin prison relates heavily to the ideas of anger and hate as this is the prison which still uses capital punishment in california. There is a lot of fear about prisons which also makes the viewer feel unsafe and creates a sense of fear as a lot of the people in the video are scary-looking inmates.
What is the mood or tone of the Music Video? What emotions does it evoke in its viewers?
The music video has a very angry and aggressive tone to it. We know this due to the number of shots which feature the lead singer screaming at the camera or snarling, the shots of the tattooed up inmates with angry facial expressions, and the general setting of the video being shot in a prison. The fast paced cuts and scenery makes the viewer feel energetic and at the same time can trigger angry emotions due to the footage used.

The central message of the video is that whatever evil things you do it will always stay with you and eventually drag you down.
What audience response do you think the Band/Artist/Director wants from the Music Video?
I think the band and director wanted to show that the band still kept their roots of angry and aggressive music and by putting them in a location for the video which is associated with anger and fear it shows they maintain their image.
